If your kitchen cabinets are old, falling apart, or just completely wrong for your space, a quick facelift won’t cut it. Sometimes, you need a full replacement to fix those major headaches and get the kitchen you truly want.
DG Custom Builders specializes in cabinet replacement that completely transforms the look, feel, and function of your Yorkville kitchen. We’re here to guide you through the process, ensuring the final result is exactly what you envisioned—and built to last.
While refinishing can spruce up cabinets, replacement gives you a chance to solve deeper, functional problems. It’s the smart choice when you need a total reset.
Structural Damage is Too Severe: If your current cabinets have severe water damage, warped frames, or are simply collapsing, replacement is the only safe and permanent solution. We tear out the old units and install brand-new, robust structures.
Total Layout Change: Want to move the oven, add a massive island, or reconfigure the entire workflow? Cabinet replacement allows us to completely customize the layout, maximizing space and creating a more efficient cooking environment.
Modern Features and Storage: New cabinets come standard with features that old ones just don’t have—think soft-close drawers, pull-out spice racks, dedicated recycling centers, and deep pantry storage. These modern additions simplify your daily life and eliminate clutter.
Every detail matters in your new kitchen. With a full cabinet replacement, you get full control over the final look and feel.
Material and Finish: Choose from an incredible variety of woods (maple, oak, cherry), durable laminate finishes, or painted cabinets in any color you can imagine. We focus on recommending materials that will stand up to the wear and tear of a busy household.
Hardware and Accents: New handles, knobs, and pulls are the jewelry of your cabinets. We help you select hardware that complements your new finish and perfectly reflects your personal style.
Custom Storage Inserts: We build specialized inserts right into the cabinets—think hidden charging stations, tiered cutlery drawers, or custom solutions for pots and pans. It’s about building storage that genuinely organizes your life.
