If your kitchen feels dated or tired, but you’re not ready for the expense and disruption of a full demolition, cabinet refinishing is the perfect solution. DG Custom Builders specializes in transforming your existing cabinetry with a fresh, durable, factory-smooth finish.
As your local Yorkville expert, we give your kitchen a high-impact, custom makeover—often at a fraction of the cost of replacing your cabinets entirely.
Achieving that pristine, smooth, and long-lasting cabinet finish requires meticulous preparation and specialized techniques. This is where quality really shows:
Professional Prep is Key: We don’t just paint over dirt and grime. We thoroughly clean every surface, degrease, and meticulously sand your cabinets. This essential preparation ensures maximum adhesion and a flawless final result.
Specialized Spray Application: We use high-quality, professional-grade primers and topcoats, applied with precision spray equipment. This process delivers an ultra-smooth, uniform finish free of brush marks and drips—the only way to truly replicate a brand-new cabinet look.
Durable, Long-Lasting Results: The products we use are designed for the demanding environment of a kitchen. They cure to a hard, chip-resistant surface that stands up to daily cleaning, ensuring your newly finished cabinets maintain their beauty for years to come.
The most exciting part of cabinet refinishing is choosing a color that completely reinvents your kitchen.
Personalized Color Palette: Whether you want to brighten your space with classic whites, add depth with bold blues or greens, or go moody with deep grays, the color choice is entirely yours. We guide you through selecting the perfect shade and sheen to match your home’s lighting and style.
Hardware Upgrade: A new finish is the perfect time to switch out old knobs and pulls. Modern hardware can dramatically change the look of your cabinets, and we handle all the necessary drilling and installation for the update.
Two-Tone Kitchens: We can design sophisticated two-tone kitchens, such as a darker color for the lower cabinets or island and a lighter color for the wall cabinets, adding modern depth and interest to the room.
