Is your home too dry in the winter? Dry air leads to irritating static, cracked wood furniture, and uncomfortable dry skin and sinuses. When your home humidifier breaks down, your indoor air quality suffers immediately. At DG Custom Builders, we provide specialized humidifier repair and maintenance services in Yorkville, IL, ensuring your system is running cleanly and efficiently to keep your indoor climate healthy and comfortable all year long.
You invested in a whole-house humidifier to keep your air balanced, and when it fails, those annoying winter symptoms return quickly. We address the technical issues that prevent your system from properly maintaining humidity levels:
System Failure to Start or Cycle: We troubleshoot electrical connections, faulty humidistats, and control boards to ensure the unit activates when needed.
Water Supply Issues: We fix clogs in the water line, repair leaks, and ensure the solenoid valve is opening and closing correctly to supply water to the system.
Maintenance and Efficiency: The most common problem is scale and mineral buildup. We perform thorough cleaning and replace crucial components like filters, pads, and wicks, which drastically improves efficiency and air quality.
Ignoring humidifier issues can lead to wasted water or, worse, mold growth if the system isn’t draining correctly. We offer reliable service to protect your health and your home’s integrity.
